This board game 'port' captures the strategy, choices, and fun of the beloved video games. Players maneuver units from one of four factions to secure resource points, grow their economy, unlock buildings, and purchase and upgrade new units, eventually unleashing their team's powerful end game forces to secure enough victory points (victory point mode) or destroy the enemy's base (annihilation mode).

The Company of Heroes board game is a stream-lined WW2 board game with tactical maneuvers and economic choices, featuring innovative game mechanics like an elegant combat engine, cover systems, building occupation and destruction, as well as multiple play modes like turn-based or real time.

The Company of Heroes Board Game is unique in that it combines tactical squad combat with heavy resource management. Players will adapt and expand their armies over the course of the game as they capture resources, unlock buildings and purchase new units.

Unique Factions & Commanders

Each faction (US, British, Soviet & Whermacht) have distinct playstyles, advantages, and weaknesses. Further specialize your faction by selecting and leveling up a doctrinal commander over the course of the game.

Each doctrinal commander will provide unique pay-per-use abilities as well as special doctrinal vehicles that can be called in like the US Priest motorized howitzer, the Wehrmacht Tiger tank, the British Staghound, and the Soviet's specialized infantry.

Expandability

The CoH Board Game is also expandable to be played solo and cooperatively with the $34.95 Solo / Cooperative expansion. A 5th and 6th player can be included by adding a 2 Player Core Set which also unlocks more map combinations. The OKW and Elite Commanders Collection provide dozens of new units and commanders that open up radically different options and strategies.
